Description

PT0 drying tray for piglets

The PT0 dry feeder for piglets, featuring a stainless steel trough, is suitable for all types of piglet feed, including mixtures containing up to 35% CCM. This piglet feed tray is specially designed for weaned piglets weighing between 7 and 35 kg. The large bunker capacity and the variety of models make these piglet feed trays ideal for feeding small to very large groups of piglets.

Robust design and hygiene

The PT0 piglet dryer is extremely robust thanks to the use of 304 stainless steel in combination with unbreakable PE plastic. The sophisticated stainless steel anti-morsal edge is completely enclosed and ensures excellent hygiene, as no piglet feed can get inside and contaminate it. Furthermore, this anti-chew edge minimises feed spillage and optimises feed conversion in piglets, which is significantly cost-effective.

Safe and sustainable dining areas

The feeding compartments are separated by a round stainless steel frame with upper and lower brackets, so that piglets cannot get their ear tags caught and cannot become trapped. These partitioning elements are fully welded through the stainless steel front panel and are completely secured, so they cannot break free even if the welds were to fail. The feeding compartment side of the PT0 piglet drying tray is light in colour, which ensures optimal feed intake and visible hygiene in the piggery.

Easy adjustment and versatility

The in-house developed and indestructible PT0 adjustment mechanism with star button is very simple to use, highly accurate and always stays in place. This saves time and ensures that the piglets never run out of feed. These features, which we have been refining for 50 years, ensure that the PT0 drying containers for piglets offer excellent value for money and are the best choice for your piglets. All piglet feed troughs are also available in a double version and can be adjusted separately for each pen.

Optional reinforcements and versatility

A lid and mounting brackets are available as optional extras. The SL feeding trough for piglets is also commonly used as a feeding trough for goats or lambs.
