The VERBA dry feed trough for piglets, with a stainless steel trough, is suitable for all types of piglet feed, mixed, if desired, with 35 per cent CCM. This piglet feeder is specially designed for weaned piglets weighing between 7 and 35 kg. Its large storage capacity and the variety of models available make this piglet feeder ideal for feeding groups of piglets, from small to very large.
Durable design and hygiene
The VERBA dry feed trough for piglets is extremely robust thanks to the use of 304 stainless steel combined with shatterproof PE plastic. The ingenious stainless steel anti-spill rim is completely sealed and ensures excellent hygiene, as it prevents piglet feed from spilling out and going to waste. Furthermore, this anti-spill rim minimises feed wastage and optimises the piglets’ feed conversion, resulting in considerable cost savings.
Safe and durable feeders
The feeding compartments are separated by a frame made of round stainless steel bars with upper and lower crossbars, so that the piglets cannot get their ear tags caught or become trapped. These feeding compartment dividers have been fully inserted through the stainless steel front panel and then fully welded, preventing them from breaking, even if the welds were to fail. The feeding compartment section of the VERBA dry feed feeder for piglets is light in colour, ensuring better feed intake and visible hygiene on the farm.
Easy adjustment and versatility
The VERBA adjustment system, which we have designed ourselves and which is virtually indestructible, features a rotary knob; it is very simple to use, highly precise and always stays in place.
