At the moment L. PT1 kel together with Wijnen machines and Twan Teurlings from Total Pigfarmers Management is busy testing an entirely new PT1 computer controlled Variomix Dryfeeder. This Variomix has been specially developed for maternity, piglets and meat pigs. After successful tests, we are now in the third phase.
The unique feature of this new Variomix is that the water and the dry feed are simultaneously dressed in the vreettrog which ensures an optimal water/feed ratio. Water and feed can be precisely set in the computer via a curve. Special about this new Variomix is also the playful way the piglets learn to handle dosed food. The first test results are truly amazing.
At the LIV 2016 in Venray we will present the new Variomix to the general public. To be continued.
